The Kandu- Furniture range of quality wooden ironing boards steps away from the mass produced steel models. The standard wooden ironing board comes complete with a cotton ironing board cover and the galvanized iron stand complete with a very handy shelf underneath that can be used to place clothes once they have been ironed. We also offer a compact mobile ironing board unit for those who are short on space and like everything in one place.
Whether you love ironing and want to get as much done as possible or hate it but want to get it finished as quickly as possible, Kandu offers a range of ironing boards suited to your requirements. The luxury wooden ironing board comes complete with cover and has a perforated metal surface, allowing steam to escape during ironing, preventing the build up of rust. What is different from most other ironing boards is the size of the work surface itself, which is approximately 18" (45cm). This speeds up the ironing and is especially great for sheets and other large items. It has eight adjustable height levels ranging from 83cm to 99cm and a steel cradle to hold the iron, as well as a large handy multi purpose storage shelf underneath for ironed clothes, coat hangers etc. There are non slip protective plastic caps on the base of the legs and the unit can be easily folded away for storage when not required.
There are replacement covers available for both the bigger models so you never have to worry about buying new ironing boards again. Our boards are built to last and are extremely sturdy and robust, making ironing that much easier.
